Recently I promised to a friend to post more pictures regarding our little holiday
in northern Italy (autonomous) province Trentino.

This lovely little town is Rovereto, important touristic and cultural centre, renown for one of the most
extensive Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Italy, the MART

Another remarkable feature of this town is the Casa Depero, unique existing Italian museum in memory of a Futuristic artist, Fortunato Depero, painter, writer, sculptor and graphic designer

Such gorgeous work! It's really delightful. I particularly love that last wall sculpture.

I'm happy you like it! :)
I found Casa Depero fabulous....there's a selection of about 3000 objects left by the artist to the city, including paintings, drawings, cloth and boxwood inlays, collages, posters and playbills, furniture, toys and applied art products...
Imagine living in a house like that! it would be my dream :D

I would, too! I've lived with artists, but their homes are never like that. It was more like books and clippings everywhere, half-finished projects on all the flat surfaces, everything a hodge-podge of different activities.

The town itself looks like an exquisite place to holiday. So green and cool and beautiful.

Yes, this entire region is incredibly green and beautiful :)
Situated in the southern Alps in the Dolomite range, it's plenty of old castles and lovely little historical towns.
Trentino is a curious Region of Italy because culturally and socially it's not quite all Italian. The southern part is Italian-speaking, but the northern reaches - also known as the South Tyrol - is largely German-speaking.
If you love mountains, good food and good wine, history and stunning landscapes, thas's the right place to go! :)
It's amazing even for our Italians! :D (surely for me, at least...)

The tall white sculptures are very striking and quite eery. The town looks pleasant too, with its narrow arches, river and greenery. Hope you had a good holiday :)

Thank you! we had a very nice holiday indeed :D
It's a pity I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside the MART, those two I posted here in effect were the only ones I could take because the sculptures were placed in a sort of antechamber to the museum itself.
We were in Rovereto almost a month before for one day short visit on our way to the MART for the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works from Musee d'Orsay exhibition, and decided to come back soon again to visit the town and the Museum throughly :)
